Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a Stationary Engineer, 2nd Class to manage daily boiler plant operations in our Massachusetts facility. You will ensure safe, compliant operation of high‑pressure boiler systems, monitor performance, coordinate inspections, and address safety concerns in collaboration with plant leadership.

The role requires a 2nd Class Engineer License, 5+ years in boiler operations, and familiarity with HVAC and facilities management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of experience in boiler and steam plant operations.
2nd Class Engineer License required.
Facilities management and HVAC system knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily boiler plant operations and ensure safe, compliant operation of high‑pressure boiler systems.
Monitor system performance and coordinate maintenance and inspections.
Enforce procedures meeting safety standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer specs.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and maintain accurate operational records and logbooks.
Drive continuous improvement and a culture of safety across the plant.
