Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in mother/baby care or successful completion of a KP FCC training program or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs others in unit operations and patient care.
• Develops and contributes to individualized care plans reflecting assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensures accurate documentation of nursing care and interventions.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Adheres to safety principles and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Delivers patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality and respect for patients and families.
