Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
State Pharmacist License with no restrictions.
Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately prepare medications for dispensing, including entry and packaging.
Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and drug interactions.
Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment for patient safety.
Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations and compounding guidelines.
Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies when needed.
Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
Log medication error occurrences.
