Job summary

Lockheed Martin’s Software Factory in Orlando is hiring a Staff DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple programs using DevSecOps principles. You will collaborate across teams to integrate pipelines within existing workflows and ensure security best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

The role supports cutting-edge aerospace and defense projects with a focus on modular, cloud-enabled, containerized software across platforms. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related major.
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and technologies.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Python and YAML/JSON formats.
• Experience with Linux OS and scripting.
• Experience with container management including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and technologies
• Proven experience implementing and configuring CI/CD software development pipelines using GitLab CI
• Knowledge of Python programming language and YAML/JSON data formats
• Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages
• Experience with container management software, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start.

Desired Skills

• Experience in leading a team
• Experience in C/C++ multi-threaded development for embedded systems
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies and practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with Nexus repository management and artifact management

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
