PL Developments, a manufacturer and distributor of OTC pharmaceutical products, seeks a Lead Stacker for the 10pm–6:30am shift in Piedmont, SC. This on-site role requires leading a team on the production line, ensuring accurate stacking, quality control, and adherence to cGMP and GDP standards.

Competitive pay includes a third-shift differential. The position involves wrapping pallets, performing changeovers, and ensuring timely, compliant shipment readiness while maintaining a safe work

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lead by example within a team setting.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures.
• Basic understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Basic understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Certified and trained in pallet handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check product cartons for correctly printed shipping information.
• Stack finished products neatly on pallets according to requirements.
• Move finished pallets to Quality Assurance inspection area.
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap to secure stability during shipping.
• Assist line with changeovers and downtime clean-up.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and report discrepancies.

SUMMARY:

The Lead Stacker is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate stacking and handling of products on the production line. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to lead and guide other team members.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6:30am

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check product cartons for correctly printed shipping information.
• Stack finished products neatly on customer-approved pallets in compliance with quantity requirements.
• Move finished pallets to the Quality Assurance Inspection Area.
• Wrap completed pallets with stretch wrap to ensure product stability during shipping.
• Assist line associates with changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist in clean-up during downtime situations and during end of shift clean up.
• Perform all duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor/Floor Leader.
• Operate handheld devices according to Work Instructions (WIs) to perform Work In Progress (WIP) completions and create/print LPNs.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of work and report any discrepancies to management as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate workflow and address any issues.
• Pass both written and driving tests for forklift trucks.
• Certify the accuracy of pallet sheets prior to signing off.
• Lead by example and guide team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to turn, twist, push, and
• Ability to use both hands and grasp for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.
