Job summary

Anza Mortgage Insurance Corporation is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in AWS. You will drive automation, monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization while mentoring a mixed team of engineers and contractors.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, Argo workflows, Terraform-based governance, and strong security practices to ensure high availability of critical mortgage-related services.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• MA in Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SREs consisting of FTEs and contractors.
• Define and assign tasks to SREs, review PRs and provide feedback.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for system health and uptime.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with IaC tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and improve workflows.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Drive infrastructure improvements and advocate for best practices in design and operations.
• Establish and manage disaster recovery plans for availability during events.
