Lead Sr. Project Manager - Land Development

• Full-time

RESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to provide project management and engineering services at our Fort Myers or Sarasota locations. The position will focus on a wide variety of public and private land development projects in the Southwest Florida area. Projects may include commercial and mixed-use centers, residential subdivisions, municipal/public safety facilities and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, a Professional Engineering (PE) Certification, and 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with project and direct report employee responsibility. The candidate should have competencies in:

• Coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies and design team members on an ongoing basis
• Project management
• Civil site and grading design
• Utility design & modeling
• Stormwater management design and modeling
• Construction plans and specifications production
• Familiar with Florida Dept. of Transportation design and permitting requirements for access and drainage.
• Experience obtaining necessary permits and approval for multi-discipline land development projects
• Proposal writing, budgeting and project financial management

Compensation: Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
