Candidates should be able to measure, cut, bend pipe, thread, groove, and install piping systems, with welding and rigging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Measure, cut and bend pipe to required angles and lengths
• Thread, groove and assemble pipe per specifications
• Install valves, hangers, supports and flanges in piping systems
• Assemble, install and repair piping to code and project specs
• Rigging knowledge and ability to work safely at height

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of materials, labor, and equipment
• Order, inventory, and receive material
• Train apprentices
• Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed
• Work with other departments as needed
• Lead crews on projects
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and estimators regarding job status
• Adhere to company safety standards and policies
