Job summary

Mediix is partnering with a well-regarded allied health provider in Sydney's Hills District to appoint a Senior Speech Pathologist / Team Leader on a 12-month parental leave contract. You'll lead a small community team delivering in-home, in-school and on-site therapy across the Hills District, balancing clinical work with leadership responsibilities.

Caseload spans paediatric and adult community work, including early intervention, school-age language and literacy, AAC, feeding, adult neurogenic

Qualifications

• SPA-eligible / Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with 4–5 years post-graduate experience.
• Prior community or mobile speech pathology experience is essential.
• Leadership/clinical supervision experience preferred or strong senior clinician ready to step up.
• NDIS frameworks and documentation knowledge required.
• Australian working rights and driver’s license must be current.

Responsibilities

• Lead the community speech pathology team with day-to-day mentoring.
• Manage caseload allocation, scheduling and workflow.
• Onboard and induct new team members during the contract.
• Maintain clinical standards and NDIs compliance; liaise with referrers, GPs, schools and facilities.
• Maintain a clinical caseload (proportion negotiable).
• Report to and collaborate with practice owners.
