Job summary

Search Station is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term care facility in Manteca, CA. The role involves evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary rehab team in a 24-hour skilled care setting.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, on-site with an 8:00AM–5:00PM schedule Monday–Friday; compensation is $65–$75 per hour and requires active licensure and CPR. Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of Medicare and other payment sources is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the work of assistants and students per State and Federal guidelines.
• Initiate evaluations per physician orders and payer guidelines.
• Develop and provide treatment plans aligned with benefit and reimbursement levels.
• Complete timely documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Educate staff and payers on treatment benefits and outcomes.
• Support outpatient department operations and development.
• Achieve quality patient care through interdisciplinary co-treatment and protocols.
• Attend continuing education and provide in-service training.
• Submit billing, payroll, and expense documentation on time.
• Make referrals to other rehab team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
