Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is seeking a Lead Speech Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive speech therapy services across the lifespan. You will assess, develop, implement, and revise treatment programs, and provide age-appropriate direct care to patients.

You will also participate in clinical programs and act as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program. The role supports a calendar of patient care and interdepartmental collaboration, within a 488-bed facility designated

Job Summary And Qualifications

The lead speech language pathologist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary. The lead speech language pathologist is also responsible for providing speech therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care/services to this population. In addition, the lead speech language pathologist participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization. They also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program.
