Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited school in Speech/Language Pathology or Audiology.
• Licensed by the appropriate Georgia State Board.
• ASHA, CCC for SLP or meet education and experience requirements for CCC in Audiology.
• Three (3) years’ experience in licensed discipline, with at least one (1) year in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate tactfully.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and direct activities.
• Knowledge in rehab regulations, billing, reimbursement, and CMS guidelines.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily activities of assigned departments including staff & student orientation.
• Acts as liaison between assigned departments, patient care units, and medical personnel.
• Assists leadership with performance improvement activities.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Exercises courtesy and patience in providing quality customer service.
