Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Specimen Lead Technician for a hospital setting in Fall River, MA, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The role involves leading specimen processing, resolving complex issues, and training other Hospital Processor roles across sites.

The position emphasizes expert problem resolution, quality monitoring, and superior customer service in interactions with hospital staff and Quest teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a lead or trainer capacity and a minimum of 3 years of specimen processing work experience in a lab.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent proficiency in test ordering policies, hospital processing procedures, specimen requirements for test ordering, sample preparation and compliance.
• Responsible for training Hospital Processor Coordinators and providing coverage at multiple hospital locations.
• Handles inbound calls with positive client interaction and collaborates with Hospital Lab Manager and Quest Diagnostics sales and other functions.
