Job summary

RLF, an established architecture, engineering, and interior design firm, is seeking a seasoned Specifications professional in Orlando. You will guide project teams in developing precise, code-compliant master specifications across architectural, engineering, and interior disciplines.

In this hybrid role, you will mentor staff, coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients, review CSI MasterFormat alignment, and stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Architect (RA), PE, or equivalent specifications credentials (CCS, CDT) will be considered.
• 8 years of progressive experience in the Specifications discipline in architectural, design, engineering, and/or construction firms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and deadline-driven focus.
• Excellent client service, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the firm's specification resource, assisting project teams with technical questions and coordinating across projects.
• Mentor and support architects and designers in developing project specifications with firm standards.
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate project specifications for architectural, engineering, and interior design projects.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of construction documents and ensure alignment with CSI MasterFormat.
• Coordinate specifications with drawings through all design phases to ensure accuracy.
