Lead Specialist, Cyber Security SecOps Lead

Responsibilities:

  1. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train security analysts on critical security operations.
  2. Oversee routine security operations, including compliance tasks and reporting, with a focus on automation to improve processes.
  3. Coordinate incident response activities involving clients, development teams, analysts, and breach response teams.
  4. Contribute to the software development lifecycle by communicating security needs at project start.
  5. Collaborate with the cyber security compliance lead to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in security operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and process design for compliance and automation.
  • Ability to quickly learn various security tools (vulnerability scanners, EDR, antivirus, cloud security tools).
  • Strong communication skills for connecting compliance, development, and client teams.
  • Solid knowledge across cyber security domains including compliance, risk, incident response.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
