Position Highlights
The Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCPH) invites applicants to apply to join our team as a Lead Specialist, Community Health Worker (Continuing Education). This position is part of a the Arizona CHW ASCEND Community Health Worker Preparation and Upskilling Project, part of the Participatory Evaluation and Action Research (PEAR) Center at MEZCPH. The individual in this position will lead the design and implementation of Community Health Worker (CHW) continuing education initiatives in Arizona, with a focus on rural and Tribal communities. CHW ASCEND is funded by the Arizona Department of Health Services with Rural Health Transformation Program Funding.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Additional Information:The person in this position will have the option for hybrid working arrangements that includes regular travel to Tucson for project and team meetings. The person in this position will be required to travel for trainings, meetings and conferences throughout Arizona for up to 25% of the time.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
