Job summary

Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) seeks a Manager, Special Projects in Baltimore, MD to lead complex housing program initiatives within the HCVP operations. You will plan, implement, and evaluate special assignments, coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance and efficiency across projects.

The role requires a four-year degree and minimum four years of experience in low-income housing, with strong analytical and client-facing communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public policy, information technology, project management, or related field.
• At least four (4) years of experience in low-income housing, preferably with the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
• Demonstrated experience with managing complex projects and initiatives, strong time management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects from initiation through completion, developing project plans and coordinating team activities.
• Leads and manages special assignments and/or projects for the division including relocations and program expansions.
• Oversees large-scale tenant relocation efforts in collaboration with the Relocation Division, tracking progress and deadlines.
