Blue Origin in the Greater Seattle area seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to own guidance, control, and sequencing for New Glenn. You will design and implement GN&C solutions, build Simulink models, and develop C/C++ flight software while coordinating cross-team analyses and tests.

You will lead verification efforts, run Monte Carlo campaigns, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop integrations, mentoring junior engineers and sharing results with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace guidance and control or simulation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop guidance and control algorithms for New Glenn flight control.
• Sequence mission activities and vehicle system commands.
• Build guidance and control algorithms in Simulink to support auto-code generation to target.
