Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area seeks a Guidance and Control Engineer to own GN&C algorithms from requirements through flight. You will design and implement control logic, verify stability, and support hardware-in-the-loop tests for the New Glenn program.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace guidance and control, proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, and C/C++ flight software experience. A BS/MS in aerospace engineering is expected, with strong communication skills and collaboration

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace or related engineering.
• 3+ years in aerospace guidance and control or simulation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with C/C++ flight software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop guidance and control algorithms for New Glenn flight control.
• Sequence mission activities and vehicle system commands.
• Develop GN&C requirements with flow-down to subsystems and software levels.
• Build guidance and control algorithms in Simulink for auto-code generation.
• Perform Monte Carlo simulations to characterize performance and robustness.
