Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and integration of Command and Data Handling systems for advanced spacecraft. You will own electrical system architecture across flight hardware, harnesses, and interfaces, guiding cross‑disciplinary teams and driving system-level requirements and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a STEM field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Electrical Systems or C&DH subsystem engineering.
• Able to obtain TS clearance with SCI access.
• Hands-on mentality for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture of spacecraft C&DH systems.
• Define electrical system architecture across C&DH, electrical subsystems, and harness.
• Oversee hardware/software integration, ensuring interaction between flight software and electrical systems.
• Lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and support mission readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical authority across programs.
