Job summary

Air National Guard Units is seeking a Supervisory Space Operations Specialist in Colorado to serve as a first level supervisor and provide advanced technical training for a space squadron.

The role includes establishing work schedules, overseeing section activities, and ensuring readiness and deployability of space system operators within the Air National Guard. A 4-year degree can substitute for part of the required experience, and the position is with Department of the Air Force.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise personnel and manage workloads.
• Experience in training or instructing others in technical or operational tasks.
• Knowledge of space operations and weapon system integration.

Responsibilities

• Establishes work schedules and daily duty assignments.
• Monitors and evaluates section activities including standards, evaluation, training and tactics.
• Instructs weapon system optimization for space system employment and integration into Combat Air Force operations.
• Ensures combat readiness and deployability of space system operators.
• Evaluates unit compliance and certifies evaluators.
• Provides Trusted Agent support for HQ AFSPC, 14 AF and state-level activities.
