Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Principal Integration Engineer to support modernization of space launch ranges from Cape Canaveral, FL. You will define discrete systems, link complex components, and lead integration plans to accelerate space launch cadence.

Role requires broad engineering expertise, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across IPTs. On-site position with potential for travel; secret clearance preferred or able to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 9+ years of experience; or Master’s with 7+ years; PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• DOE/DOD technical engineering exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes, life cycle, and integration functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Defines discrete systems with processes to link complex systems and components.
• Employs broad skills across engineering disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture.
• Assists in transition planning, requirements development, and may develop architecture baselines.
• Leads development of integration and migration plans/schedules.
• Advocates for clients on architecture design to address business problems.
• Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions and systems requirements.
