Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to design high-speed digital electronics for space technologies, including ADCs, DACs, FPGAs and processors. You will analyze analog circuits, develop power conditioning, and support manufacturing and test within defined schedules.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or a B.S. with 10+ years) in electrical engineering and experience with PCB layouts, space qualification standards, and the ability to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering with minimum 8 years of experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, and MS Office).
• Understanding of space qualification standards and requirements.
• Experience with PCB layouts and PCB manufacturing processes.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital electronics with ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, and processors.
• Analyze analog circuits with low-noise conditioning and power amplifiers.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to meet technical needs.
• Support electronics manufacturing and test within defined schedules.
• Provide expertise to product development and R&D.
