Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Lead, SOX Program Strategy & Audit Excellence — ITGC/ITAC, reporting to the Senior Manager. You will act as the primary SOX liaison to Intuit's Technology organization, driving scalable, well-designed controls across ITGCs and automated controls.

In this role you will evaluate control design, lead walkthroughs with auditors, manage deficiency remediation, and translate complex IT risk topics into clear communications for senior leadership and committees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Big 4 or equivalent IT risk and SOX work.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent.
• CISA, CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CPA, or CIA preferred.
• Willingness to work from multiple offices (San Diego, Mountain View, Atlanta) at least 3 days/week.
• Deep knowledge of ITGCs, automated and application controls, and PCAOB/COSO framework.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SOX liaison to Intuit's Technology organization, driving ITGC/ITAC control design.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls and provide actionable recommendations.
• Lead ITGC and automated control walkthroughs with auditors and co-source teams.
• Manage deficiency evaluation, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Review co-sourced workpapers and prepare SOX materials for leadership and committees.
• Maintain SOX SOPs and templates; monitor regulatory changes and update program policy.
• Collaborate with process owners to drive SOX awareness and training for tech stakeholders.
• Lead with ownership to improve IT control environment across Intuit.
