Job summary

Delaware North’s Patina Group is seeking a Sous Chef for Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, FL. This role supports the Executive Chef, leads the culinary team in a high-volume environment, and ensures exceptional food quality, presentation, and sanitary standards.

You will train and mentor staff, assist with menu costing, and help manage labor and food costs in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience with management responsibilities in a large production kitchen or high-volume operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the culinary team, ensuring production efficiency and high-quality food.
• Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members to foster a cohesive workplace.
• Support food and labor cost management, schedules, inventory control, and receiving processes.
• Collaborate on menu design, costing, and bulk recipe development with the Executive Chef.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen per health regulations.
