Fresh Ideas is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango, CO 81301. The PM shift runs Thursday through Monday, 12:00 am to 9:00 pm. Prior culinary experience and supervisory experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Stores food properly and ensures sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains proper portion control, serving temperatures, and presentation.
• Monitors inventory, deliveries, and waste, and informs supervisor of low supplies.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
