Qualifications
- Master’s degree required or bachelor’s with 5 years of professional experience and a relevant portfolio.
- Expert-level proficiency in Pro Tools, immersive audio workflows, and post‑production.
- Ability to teach across all Sound Recording Technology classes and labs.
Responsibilities
- Teach across all SRT classes and labs.
- Demonstrate Pro Tools expertise; Avid certification preferred.
- Instruct on critical listening, mixing, and mastering using diverse processors.
- Record live instruments in professional studio environments; mic selection and placement.
- Lead MIDI sequencing and virtual instruments; teach contemporary composition.
- Explain studio systems clearly and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
