Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Solutions Architect / Lead to own the end-to-end architecture for a modernized cyber command center. You will direct data/integration, cloud platform, and application delivery teams, ensuring coherent design and government-aligned decisions.

You will lead interface standards, support ATO processes, and mentor engineers while collaborating with leadership on critical infrastructure programs. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise systems integrating multiple data sources.
• Cloud architecture experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with data integration and normalization to open standards.
• Working knowledge of RMF and authorization boundary decisions.
• Directing engineering teams across disciplines.
• Able to present technical decisions to senior government stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture, including data flow, integration patterns, and processing layer boundaries.
• Direct architecture decisions for authorization boundary, hosting model, and sustainment posture.
• Lead three delivery teams: data engineering, cloud platform/authorization, and application delivery.
• Define interface and schema standards for operator applications.
• Coordinate with government leadership and partners on architecture trade-offs.
• Mentor engineers across data, platform, and application domains.
