Who We Are

The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) is the organization within Hallmark Technology responsible for building a consumer-focused caring platform, developing a cloud-first digital platform, and supporting Hallmark’s lines of business with digital solutions. The team collaborates on products like Hallmark.com and the Hallmark Gold Crown Omnichannel network to enhance consumer engagement and brand relevance.

What This Role Entails and How You'll Contribute

The Lead Solutions Architect (LSA) provides solutions aligned with digital strategies, working closely with product and delivery teams to architect scalable, performant applications. The LSA leads in technology decisions, champions customer experience, and promotes best practices in hybrid/cloud solutions, CI/CD, and innovative digital practices.

In This Role, You Will

1. Ensure success in building and migrating software and services to scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
2. Lead application architecture consulting and assist with deployments.
3. Assess and document current workflows, processes, and system configurations.
4. Act as a technical liaison among teams.
5. Manage releases, approving configurations and code deployments.
6. Develop technical skills to contribute to architecture discussions and innovative solutions.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in application migrations and large-scale cloud solutions, with experience as a principal developer or architect.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience
• Minimum 6 years in solutions architecture, including analysis, design, and development
• At least 5 years in Salesforce Service Cloud, AWS Connect, or similar cloud platforms
• 3+ years working with CI/CD tools
• 2+ years with telephony system integrations
• Experience with consumer service case management, knowledge bases, and omnichannel solutions
• Experience delivering end-to-end IT solutions from conception to maintenance
• Prior roles involving scalable system architecture, security, and support in heterogeneous environments
• Mentoring experience in technology teams

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or 6 years equivalent experience
• Expertise in application architecture strategy, governance, and compliance
• Experience with API management and analytics tools
• Knowledge of SQL or SOQL
• Experience with AI integrations and continuous integration tools like GitLab, Gearset, Copado
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience working with offshore teams
