The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) within Hallmark Technology is responsible for building a consumer-focused digital platform that enables various business lines like Crayola, Hallmark Media, and Hallmark Global to enhance their direct-to-consumer strategies. We develop a cloud-first, multi-tenant platform offering features such as a unified Hallmark Profile, Product Recommendations, and Global Payment services. Our team partners with high-performing, cross-functional groups to deliver impactful digital solutions that increase consumer engagement, retention, revenue, and brand relevance.

WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

The Lead Solutions Architect (LSA) provides technical solutions aligned with our digital strategies. Working closely with Product and Delivery Managers, the LSA architects scalable, high-performance applications, promotes design excellence, and ensures a world-class customer experience. The role involves guiding technology choices, advocating for best practices in hybrid/cloud solutions, and fostering continuous integration and automation within Hallmark Digital. LSAs are forward-thinking, aiming to innovate and improve our digital practices.

In this role, you will:

1. Ensure successful migration and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure software solutions.
2. Lead application architecture efforts and assist with deployment strategies.
3. Assess and document current workflows, processes, and system configurations.
4. Serve as a technical liaison among product, delivery, and technical teams.
5. Manage releases, including configuration and deployment approvals.
6. Develop technical skills and contribute to architecture discussions and design.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in application migrations, large-scale computing solutions, and experience as a principal developer or architect on cloud platforms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience
• Minimum 6 years as a solutions architect with analysis, design, and development experience
• At least 5 years building solutions in Salesforce Service Cloud, AWS Connect, or similar cloud platforms
• Minimum 3 years working with CI/CD tools
• At least 2 years working with Telephony system integrations
• Experience with case management, knowledge bases, and omnichannel solutions
• Experience delivering end-to-end IT solutions from conception to maintenance
• Prior responsibility for scalable, secure, and supported systems architecture
• Mentoring experience within technology teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with:

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or 6 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in application architecture, governance, and compliance
• Experience with API management and analytics tools
• Knowledge of SQL or SOQL
• Experience with AI integrations for service clouds
• Familiarity with CI tools like Gitlab, Gearset, Copado
• Agile methodology experience
• Experience collaborating with internal and offshore teams
