Job summary

PeopleReady in Hawaii seeks a Lead Solar PV Installer in Lihue to lead installation crews on commercial solar projects, perform precise layouts, and oversee racking, PV modules, DC stringing and inverters.

You will ensure safety, quality, and thorough documentation while mentoring junior installers and apprentices in best practices. OSHA 10/30 familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on solar PV installation experience with commercial projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results.
• Strong knowledge of system layout, solar racking, PV DC stringing, inverter equipment, wiring, and termination best practices.
• Experience with documentation (daily reports, testing, and delivery confirmation).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial solar PV projects.
• Perform precise system layouts and manage full project execution.
• Oversee installation of solar racking components, PV modules, DC stringing, inverters, and electrical systems.
• Execute high-quality terminations, wire management and follow wiring best practices.
• Train and mentor PV installers and apprentices on best practices.
