Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Module Equipment Engineer to oversee solar module manufacturing, including soldering, inspection, mechanical assembly, and machinery management. You will run diagnostics, calibrate instruments, and implement improvements to reliability and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years of related experience, with SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency. The work is on-site in a fast-paced solar production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in module manufacturing or equipment engineering.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD, including sheet metal and weldments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with PDM systems is desirable.
• Strong materials knowledge and reliability analysis experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostics, repair and maintain plant equipment across modules manufacturing.
• Commission control systems, calibrate instrumentation, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage CMMS work orders.
• Create solid models and drawings per CAD guidelines.
• Identify design improvements and critical components for reliability.
• Support cost reduction and operational improvements in equipment.
• Lead or collaborate on assigned work orders and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
