Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is hiring a Lead Installer in Hawaii to join a solar installation crew and guide fellow installers daily. This role centers on coordinating tasks, ensuring quality installations, and maintaining safety standards on residential projects across challenging sites.

You will participate in training for new products and installation methods, support team members, and contribute to on-site efficiency while upholding Sunrun’s commitment to energy independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required; construction or military experience may be considered.
• Clean driving record with valid license (21+).

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools for installation.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures.
• Assemble racking, modules, and supports per project plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and perform site clean-up.
• Lead crew with safe, efficient installations and provide technical support.
• Assist with solar battery installations when assigned.
• May serve as acting Foreperson in Foreperson's absence.
