Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a Crew Lead Installer in Chesapeake, VA to lead a small crew, assemble and install solar PV systems, and ensure quality and safety on every project. The role involves rooftop work, coordinating with electricians, and training junior crew members to meet company standards.

The ideal candidate will have solar installation experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read plans and use common installation tools.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Solar Install experience is required.
• Vocational or technical school training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install solar panels on roofs.
• Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customer needs; connect panels to the grid.
• Maintain quality assurance and safety on crew installations.

Education
