Job summary

Jabil seeks a Lead Software Test Development Engineer to drive validation test solutions for server hardware manufacturing facilities. You will shape end-to-end architecture, develop production software and infrastructure, and interface with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to meet high standards in a multi-site environment.

The role requires 5–8 years in a software role related to manufacturing test development, proficiency in Python/Java/Bash, and experience with Linux, IPMI,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is preferred. Relevant experience will also be considered.
• 5-8 years’ experience in a software role related to manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage or networking products is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash; C/C++ is a plus.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test systems and procedures for hardware validation during manufacturing processes.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to assess hardware components (motherboard, memory, CPU, storage, PCIE devices).
• Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate the testing process.
• Support and maintain manufacturing server and rack level test software and infrastructure at production facilities.
• Maintain comprehensive manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) documentation of test procedures and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements and standards.
