Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Manager for its Strategic Defense autonomous systems in Washington, DC or Seattle, WA. You will shape features for the next generation of air and missile defense, develop domain expertise, and apply rigorous AI/ML approaches with safety guardrails.

You will own roadmaps, coordinate with engineering and stakeholders, and drive end-to-end delivery from discovery to fielding in a fast-paced, security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (Top Secret clearance preferred)
• 3-5 years in software product management, ideally in highly technical areas which may include autonomous systems, AI/ML products, developer solutions, etc.
• Working fluency in autonomy and controls concepts - state estimation, planning, and closed-loop control - sufficient to reason a

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for autonomy capabilities, including backend services and UI oversight.
• Define autonomy behavior and human-machine interfaces, including decision authority and safety guardrails.
• Coordinate with engineering to sequence workstreams, surface dependencies, and track delivery against plan.
• Communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders; escalate major trade-offs and decisions as needed.
• Serve as owner of the autonomy capability area, partnering with BD, marketing, and compliance.
• Hands-on delivery across the lifecycle: initial release, onboarding, and day-to-day improvements.
• Define and monitor metrics for autonomy performance, safety, and controls under real conditions.
• Interview defense operators, derive insights, and translate user needs into requirements.
• Collaborate with test engineers, program teams, and designers to drive rapid iteration and success.
