Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking experienced Software Engineers for the Strategic Defense team to develop software for autonomous, real-time defense systems. You will work on networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and other critical domains alongside elite peers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will join teams spanning AI, edge hardware, space solutions, networking, and test engineering to craft cutting-edge, mission-critical systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years writing production software in languages like C++, Rust, Go, or Python that real users or systems depend on.
• End-to-end feature ownership including design, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers (operators, hardware engineers, customers).

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions deployed to customers at the edge of innovation and necessity.
• Write code to improve robust C2 products and scale mission capabilities.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to plan, build, and test complex systems.
• Work with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing UX and engineering constraints.
