Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive innovation in PC-based PlayStation software. You will build and mentor a secure, high-performance team delivering SDKs and applications for Windows PC and other devices.

You will guide technical strategy, collaborate across engineering, product, design, and research, and ensure code quality through reviews and Agile practices. Strong leadership and security-focused mindset required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with requirements gathering and scalable code across multiple technology stacks.
• Experience in building high-performance SDKs or Frameworks.
• Knowledge of client-side Operating System security fundamentals and features.
• Experience recruiting and building great teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, grow, and empower your team to achieve goals.
• Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate to develop, implement, and uphold SDK and security features for PC applications.
• Create technical specifications as a Product Owner.
• Guide the team technically to build high quality PC products.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation.
• Lead day-to-day activities using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Coordinate development with geographically diverse teams.
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of PlayStation’s engineering management team.
