Job summary

BW Design Group is seeking a Software Engineer Manager for the Information Solutions team in the United States. You will lead projects across multiple sectors, oversee software architecture, and mentor engineers while maintaining client relationships.

The role emphasizes MES, data collection/reporting, and analytics with deployment through Ignition/Sepasoft. Some travel to client sites and ongoing collaboration with a broad engineering group are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience developing software solutions for consumer products, life science and/or industrial industries.
• Experience architecting and implementing MES, data collection/reporting systems; Ignition/Sepasoft preferred.
• Prior experience as a system integrator is a plus.
• Strong client-facing track record and ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for complete project execution including client interaction, team leadership, software architecture design, project leadership, startup and commissioning support.
• Maintain staffing plans for the local team and ensure engineers meet billable targets.
• Mentor the team and develop training objectives and strategies.
• Interface with clients to define and manage scope on complex projects and leverage firm-wide standards.
• Drive projects to completion and contribute to technical direction of the Information Solutions group.
