Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Six+ years in business software design and development.
• Eight+ years for senior positions in software engineering.
• Hands-on in .NET and/or Java.
• Experience with modern web frameworks (React/Angular).
• Knowledge of security models and integration techniques.
• Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for complex projects related to new systems and architecture.
• Plan, design, code, test, document and implement software for engineering projects.
• Provide technical leadership and direct work of engineers and analysts.
• Oversee development to meet performance and interoperability standards.
• Advise clients on IT strategy and business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify deficiencies and improvements.
• Coach and mentor team members on development and security practices.
• Stay current with industry standards and apply improvements.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
