I8IS - Infiniti Software Solutions in Herndon, Virginia, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support multiple software product deliveries and modernization initiatives. You will provide technical leadership, own software products, and drive the complete lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

The role requires deep expertise in Java and C++, Spring Boot and REST APIs, with DoD/telecom domain experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 7 years of related experience.
• 13 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle; strong architecture and design.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership across software engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Take ownership of software products and drive delivery through the development lifecycle.
• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools to improve design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Maintain strong engineering standards relating to quality, security, performance and reliability.
