T. Rowe Price is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help lead strategic initiatives for the Individual Investors Secure Digital Experience program.

You’ll be hands‑on across the full development lifecycle and mentor an Agile team of back‑end and front‑end developers working with React and Java microservices on AWS. This role supports flexible and remote work up to three days a week, with a strong emphasis on delivering resilient software that aligns with enterprise standards and collaborating

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Java development.
• Strong ReactJS UI development experience.
• Experience mentoring and leading development teams.
• AWS cloud technology experience; Springboot microservices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead other developers enabling them to work independently.
• Lead development efforts, provide input into architectural and design decisions, provide realistic estimates.
• Design and develop solutions with architecture, dev ops and security teams.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback.
• Drive tactical and strategic technical decisions with stakeholders.
