We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Siemens PLC programming and a comprehensive understanding of industrial software development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PLC programming, remote I/O protocols, and equipment control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for equipment control using Siemens PLCs.
• Develop, test, and maintain PLC code for application software.
• Interface with remote I/O Profibus and Profinet to ensure seamless communication and control of equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project team, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to develop integrated solutions tailored to meet our clients' needs.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC systems and software applications.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions to promote efficient, scalable solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in PLC programming best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, design practices, and user manuals.
• Work under minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming, specifically with Siemens systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages.
• Skill in C and Python programming languages is a plus
• Skill in HMI developing is a plus
• Strong understanding of remote I/O protocols and their applications in industrial environments.
• Extensive experience in equipment control and automation.
• Prior experience in the oil and gas drilling industry is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of operating in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required to support project deployment and client needs.
• Can work in English environment, fluent writing and verbal skills.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly advantageous.
