Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Software Engineer - Lead in the United States to drive the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications and backend systems. You will lead technical initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The role requires strong full-stack expertise in Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server, with a track record of mentoring engineers and delivering high-quality software at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable web and backend systems.
• Strong .NET MVC and .NET Core expertise.
• Experience mentoring software engineers.
• Proven SDLC experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Build robust back-end services and APIs using C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Create technical specifications and documentation based on business requirements and conceptual designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability and security.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of software quality.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and career development.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and clarify business requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and tools, and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.
• Support and maintain production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
