Job summary

Medica is seeking a Technology Engineer to join the Member Portal 2.0 team. The Lead Tech Software Engineer designs, implements, and maintains enterprise tech solutions across data sources, APIs, and cloud interfaces.

You will work with business SMEs to deliver scalable, reliable portals for members, providers, and brokers. The role emphasizes modern coding, CI/CD automation, and collaboration with developers and product owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years of product-related work experience beyond degree.
• Proficient with Java and React.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and patterns.
• Develop clean, testable, secure code using modern languages and cloud interfaces.
• Write SQL queries to access data from multiple sources (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Automate deployments using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Validate solutions via functional tests and performance benchmarking.
• Mentor peers and provide technical guidance to product owners.
