Job summary

Executive Talent Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team developing mission-critical software. The role covers requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing, with emphasis on VoIP and real-time communications using SIP-based frameworks.

The candidate will mentor engineers, support recruiting and performance management, and contribute to proposals and planning across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related experience or graduate degree.
• Senior engineering/technical lead experience is required.
• Proven experience designing or integrating RESTful services in production.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and task leadership for a software team.
• Lead development of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures using Java and WAR deployments on JBoss.
• Guide deployment and sustainment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux with RPM packaging.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
