Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in software engineering and operations.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of IPv4 networking and OSI model.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborates with Lines of Business to address compute needs in a low-latency trading environment.
• Directs strategies for server hardware, OS tuning, and automation.
• Designs Authority for the compute infrastructure stack and lifecycle management.
• Interfaces with vendors and internal teams on roadmaps and architectures.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Identifies automation opportunities to improve stability and reliability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and startups on architecture.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
