You will influence resource decisions, governance, and cost ownership while mentoring engineers and aligning with business goals across departments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Understanding of IPv4 networking, including OSI model, unicast/broadcast/multicast, routing, and network segmentation.
• Extensive experience with Configuration Management, using Chef or Ansible.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.

Responsabilités

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives.
• Work with Lines of Business to address needs within a low-latency Electronic Trading environment.
• Direct strategies for server hardware platform, tuning, and automation.
• Design Authority for compute infrastructure stack including build/config mgmt and logging.
• Interface with vendors on roadmaps to advance next-gen infrastructure.
• Makes decisions affecting resources, budget, and operational processes.
• Carries governance accountability for coding decisions and cost of ownership.
• Delivers technical solutions across multiple businesses and domains.
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business and technology.
• Champions diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
