PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to join its Lending Technology organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; or Strongsville, OH. Lead the delivery of features and epics, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution in a modernization effort focused on collections technology.

The role requires strong technical leadership, architecture oversight, and active participation in analysis, design, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, microservices, Oracle, and SQL.
• Experience leading software engineering teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
