JPMorganChase seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments team. You will be a core technical contributor responsible for delivering trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment, leading features across the development lifecycle and guiding architectural discussions.

You will collaborate with agile teams, drive adoption of modern practices, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a culture of inclusion and high performance.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its technology systems.
• Practical cloud-native experience.

Responsabilidades

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
• Lead triage and resolution of ad hoc, client-impacting issues.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to drive outcome-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
• Own the delivery of features across the development lifecycle both independently and with the team, including design, implementation, testing, and support.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
